We were talking a cruise out of San Pedro and this establishment is in perfect proximity, the owner is so nice and understanding. Our room is perfect and reasonable priced, it's our 2nd visit here and if we sail out of long Beach again we'll stay here.
Very nice, very clean place to stay! Sheets were crispy clean white. Also liked the wood floors in place of carpet. The mural on the ceiling was a pleasant surprise! The own very friendly and helpful! So from a landscaper from Colorado we give a big.. THUMBS UP!!
Stayed for 6 days. Cleanest and best service ever. People very helpful and courteous. Maybe too helpful. Bed was comfy even with a bad back. They cleaned the room even when you tell them it's not needed. Just wish they respected Do not disturb sign. For a small hotel grounds (roses n all) are well taken care of. I will DEFINITELY RETURN.
The place was clean, the rooms were nicely decorated and modern looking wood floors and nice granite. The clouds on the ceiling were beautiful. The manager showed me to my first room and the black light didn't work so he insisted I change rooms so I could experience the black light, I was impressed that he cared even though I didn't mind. My boyfriend loved it as well. This was a very nice place to stay! They will be my first choice next time I need a motel.
This place is truly a hidden gem! Tucked away in a nice quite neighborhood it’s a nicely decorated and well kept place! I must say however that what the owners have done to what looks like an unassuming little motel is nothing short of brilliant! Located VERY close to most all major attractions staying here will definitely make your visit to Long Beach memorable!

This place is a beautiful little Motel hit out in a quiet neighborhood and the manager is everything the reviews have been saying. He's very kind and helpful to his clientele and he goes the extra mile to make sure things are doing okay for his guest. The price is reasonable, and the rooms are clean and smell disinfected. It was a nice welcoming feeling to walk into one of their rooms he even showed me the black light that made the ceiling and the Stars light up. Never seen that before so it was fun. Nicely decorated with lots of big mirrors and the marble counters make the room look great. They may not offer a lot of amenities that other bigger Motel do but if you're only coming to sleep, watch TV, or just to relax this is the perfect place. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I can't believe a little place like this is hid out so well but yet so convenient to McDonald's, Taco Bell, and other little restaurants along with Winchell's Donuts! I think if all you want is the basics and you get the opportunity to stay here you will not regret it. Thank you Kearney Motel. Loved your roses as a place to pray early in the morning. You made my stay very very comfortable.
An absolutely wonderful stay. The manager is one of the most friendly people you've ever met. He clearly values the opinions of his guests and makes an active effort to ensure a quality stay for his guests. The black-light ceilings, the hardwood floors, and the multitude of mirrors make this hotel room memorable in the best possible way. Each room also has a coffee maker as well as large mounted TV's. If I'm ever in Long Beach again, this is where I'd stay in a heart beat.
